Privacy policy

The short version: we collect your email so we can send you the cheat sheet and occasional emails. We don't sell it, and this site has no ad trackers and no cookies.

Who runs this site

talkwithleah.app is run by the team behind Leah (@talkwithleah on Instagram). Questions about your data: leahnvc1@gmail.com.

What we collect

• When you sign up on this site: your email address, plus which link brought you here (for example “Instagram, FIGHTS”).
• When you talk to @talkwithleah on Instagram (for example, you comment a keyword or send a message): your Instagram user ID and username, your comment, the messages you send, and whether you follow the account. Instagram shares that last one with us only after you tap a button or reply.
• When you visit: our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address to deliver pages and block abuse. The signup form keeps a scrambled (hashed) version of it for about 10 minutes to stop repeated tries. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without following you around the web.

Why we collect it

• To send you what you asked for: the PDF, or the link to it.
• To send you occasional emails with more things to say instead. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To see which posts and links are working. We look at counts, not profiles.
• To keep the site and the Instagram replies free of spam and abuse.

We don't sell or rent your data, and we don't use it for ads.

Who processes it for us

• Loops (loops.so) stores the email list and sends the emails.
• Cloudflare (cloudflare.com) hosts this site and our Instagram reply service, protects them from abuse, and provides cookie-less visit counts.
• Meta (Instagram) delivers comments and messages between you and @talkwithleah.

These companies may process data in the United States and other countries.

How long we keep it

• Your email: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If you unsubscribe, we keep your address marked as unsubscribed so you don't get emails again. Ask us anytime to delete it completely.
• Instagram comments and messages: up to 30 days. A note that we already sent you the link: up to 180 days, so you don't get the same message twice.
• The hashed IP address: about 10 minutes.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe with the link at the bottom of any email.
• Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion: email leahnvc1@gmail.com. Details on the data deletion page.
• We reply within 30 days.

Age

This site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think we have, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
